The Moldavian soprano recently starred in Luisa Miller and La Traviata, both in Parma for the 2007 Verdi Festival.

She also made a name for herself at La Scala and Rome last Spring and Summer when she filled in for Angela Gheorghiu. She really reminds me of her, not only physically, but also in her voice, though she needs to work on her breath.
