The italian newspaper Il Tempo today presents some lines from the maestro's biograghy.
The book has been on sale in italian since yesterday by Rizzoli, the famous publishing house.
It is going to be edited in English too very soon.

Bad news for the maestro and the CSO.
After the fracture of his jaw last Thursday, it is as if Chicago is sending him away.
Actually I never believed that taking up this post was his decision. I hope that he gets the message, stops listening to his wife and comes back to Europe for good.
The only one who is crying now is Mrs Mazzavillani because there is a deficit in her bank account!

Muti had his jaw operated because of fractures after his fainting, and after a week a pacemaker was implanted to regulate his heart beat.
He'll be hospitalised till back to Italy early March.
Yesterday his CD with Verdi's Requiem performed by the CSO and russian singers won the Grammy award casting bright light on the participants after the gloomy days.
