A love story

Riccardo Muti explaining how he fell in love with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Dear Extatic,
besides Mo Muti, Josh Bell was awarded too.
I've just heard him play the song "O, Mio Babbino Caro" from his CD in you tube and I believe that it is very sweet and powerful.
Could you present it in your site?

I could... if I liked solo violinists... but if I'm quite fond of the strings inside the orchestra, I must admit a lone violin is not something I like listening too.

(I do have the utmost respect for Joshua Bell).

I agree! I prefer a violin or a piano solo with a full orchestra complementing the performance.
