Interesting that they are doing a totally different production of Idomeneo (a Luc Bondy one with Paul Groves and Joyce DiDonato just finished). It looks as if I should fulfill my lifetime dream of going to Paris in June 2010 as there is lots going on then!

What about including the Budapest State Opera? I am going to Budapest next week, and I was surprised to learn how many productions there are to choose from: for example, Carmen, Aida, Midnight Summer's Dream both as a ballet and as an operetta, Mozart!, etc.
